FAMAS

The FAMAS, also known as the Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne, is an automatic assault rifle featured in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). This iconic French rifle, designed in 1971, stands out in the game for its cost-effectiveness, light recoil, and impressive accuracy when firing in burst mode. However, while the FAMAS offers these benefits, it is also known for its relatively lower damage output compared to other rifles and decreased accuracy when continuously firing in automatic mode.

To maximize the effectiveness of the FAMAS in CS:GO, it's best utilized at medium range where its burst-fire accuracy can be fully leveraged. Engaging enemies at a longer range? Switch to burst mode to land more precise shots. Up close, the automatic mode may come in handy, but remember to manage your recoil.
