History

The AWP | Mortis skin was added to the game on February 14, 2018, as part of The Clutch Collection, which was released alongside the “Welcome to the Clutch” update.

Appearance

The design of the AWP | Mortis skin is inspired by the Death Tarot card. The skin is made in black, brown, and red colors. The buttstock is adorned with an image of the Grim Reaper. The central part of the receiver is complemented with an image of a horse skeleton painted against the checkered background, which is also present on the scope. The buttstock is adorned with an abstract pattern and numerous images of stars. The barrel, the scope and the back part of the buttstock are not painted.

Float Effect

The Float Value of the AWP | Mortis skin ranges from 0.00 to 0.64, making it available in all conditions. The first abrasions appear on the scope and in the upper part of the receiver already in Factory New condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the paint layer on the scope and in the upper part of the receiver is completely peeled, making the skin noticeably darker.

The pattern index does not affect the appearance of the AWP | Mortis skin.
